Open Water Diver Course - Overview

PADI Assistant Instructor course is your first step to becoming a true dive educator. You will learn the PADI's General Standards & Procedures, the procedure to present a knowledge development, confined pool & open water session.

Being a PADI Assistant Instructor separates you from providing solely logistics as a PADI Divemaster to a dive educator. After your course, you are able to do the following:-

  • Teach academic presentations
  • Teach the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course
  • Teach Project AWARE Specialty courses
  • Conduct PADI Discover Scuba Diving experiences
  • Teach Emergency First Response after completion of an EFR Instructor course

    Your course will consist of the following modules:-

  • 8 Knowledge Development Sessions
  • 1 Confined Pool Dive
  • 1 Open Water Dive

  • Course Pre-Requisite
  • 18 Years Of Age
  • 60 Logged Dives
  • PADI Divemaster Or Equivalent Certification
  • Valid CPR/First Aid Certification Within 2 Years
