Rescue Diver Course

Challenging yet rewarding!

Most divers say this is the most challenging yet rewarding course of them all. Once you have completed your PADI Advance Open Water Diver Course, we are sure that you are more confident in the water, you now will be able to direct your awareness towards the wellbeing of others.

You will build on your observation skills and learn how to handle an accident if it does happen. Your confidence in the water will increase tremendously as you learn to care for yourself and help other divers.

The Rescue Diver Course will have you encounter realistic rescue scenarios, and you will learn how to effectively manage these situations.

You will become competent in the most important rescue skill of all - anticipation and prevention of problems that may surface during a scuba diving session.

You will find out that there is no one way to solve a problem, and you will learn how to decide and act on the best solution in any situation.

The course includes the PADI Rescue Diver Manual which contains knowledge reviews for you to complete as well as your own Diving Accident Management work slate to keep.

Through knowledge development, you learn what to look for and how to respond effectively. You will then be required to sit for a final exam (Don’t worry, it's easy).

Confined Pool Session

You’ll get info on the psychology of rescue, recognizing diver stress, and accident management. You will practice assisting divers at the surface and underwater and perform a missing-diver search. You will bring an unconscious diver to the surface slowly and safely. You will learn about how equipment problems are the trigger for so many accidents and how to prevent them.

Let's GO DIVING!

Time to put your skills into practice in realistic scenarios!
